About us

Our Team

US Healthbridge is supported by a multidisciplinary team with experience across healthcare coordination, patient services, and international systems.

Where appropriate, we collaborate with external medical advisors and licensed providers — while maintaining strict independence in our navigation role.

Founder’s Perspective

““US Healthbridge grew out of personal experience and a growing awareness of how challenging it has become for many patients in the United States to access medical care.
Even with insurance, many patients are effectively underinsured. When illness occurs, costs can rise quickly, and securing timely appointments or procedures often involves long waiting periods, administrative hurdles, and a great deal of uncertainty.
Over several years, Cathy and I have managed our own medical care in Munich, Germany. During that time, we encountered a healthcare system that felt fundamentally different — one defined by clear processes, coordinated care, and efficient access to services.
What stood out to us was the combination of high medical quality and cost transparency. At comparable levels of care, treatment and prescription costs were often significantly lower than what we were accustomed to in the U.S. As American patients, we consistently experienced professional care and clear communication, with English widely spoken throughout the German medical system.
At the same time, it became clear that navigating a foreign healthcare system is not simple. Understanding structures, processes, and administrative requirements — knowing how the system works — can be difficult without guidance.
US Healthbridge was created to address exactly this gap. Together with a trusted Munich-based surgeon and legal counsel in both the United States and Germany, we founded US Healthbridge with a clear and focused goal: to provide independent, non-clinical healthcare navigation and care coordination for U.S. patients seeking medical care in Germany — without influencing medical decisions or promoting specific providers.
Today, our purpose remains the same: to help patients understand their options, navigate an unfamiliar healthcare system with confidence, and access care in Germany in a clear, transparent, and independent way.”

Where We Operate

US Healthbridge currently operates from Munich, Germany.
Our focus on Munich reflects a deliberate decision to prioritize depth over breadth. Concentrating on a single primary healthcare region allows us to develop detailed system knowledge, establish reliable processes, and build trusted professional relationships within the local healthcare ecosystem.

Munich offers a highly developed medical infrastructure, extensive experience with international patients, and clear administrative and regulatory frameworks — making it a strong foundation for structured healthcare navigation services.

As our services evolve, we plan to expand carefully to other major German healthcare centers, including Berlin and additional metropolitan regions where similar standards, infrastructure, and experience with international patients are present.

Any future expansion will follow the same guiding principles:

  • Strong medical infrastructure
  • Experience working with international patients
  • Clear and predictable administrative processes
  • High professional and regulatory standards

This measured approach ensures that US Healthbridge maintains consistency, reliability, and transparency as services grow.
